This year I had the opportunity to meet and learn from Alice Williams for 4 full days in an incredible workshop at the Corse Gallery in Jacksonville, Florida. Alice has inspired me, pushed me and taught me SOOO much, I am so excited to put into practice what I learned!!!! I did something never before, painted from a "live model" who was knitting a scarf. It's always good to challenge myself out of my norm, and on very large canvases. Thanks Alice and best of luck in your permanent move to Provence, France!! Below are workshop paintings, I am excited to show you.

Living in North Carolina offers fantastic opportunities to learn from wonderful artists. Recently I attended a 2 day workshop with Connie Winters offered through the Village Gallery at Reynolda Village in Winston, Salem, NC. WOW, I loved it ALL and especially enjoyed being with friends too. Below is a painting from the 2nd day of class. I think I am attached to it already and have to fine a place in our home to hang it...

This is a combination of thoughts, Our dock in background, Gerry's shirt, a grandson, and we like to shrimp at the coast. All this was included in this painting.

This is an original of the "Gause Landing Cabin" at Ocean Isle on the Intercoastal Waterway.

Nantucket, Sconset

Gerry and I traveled to Nantucket on our Anniversary one year and stayed in our friends Beautiful home in Sconset. While on a bike ride, I took too many photos and this is a result of that day. A perfect day! All images copyrighted.
